Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Kawungan in 2021 compared to Maryborough Central - North shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 22.3% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.0% were one-parent families, compared with 16.1% and 14.4% respectively for Maryborough Central - North.
