Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Eurobodalla Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,019 males or 26.8%)
  • Labourers (1,127 males or 15.0%)
  • Managers (1,107 males or 14.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,253 males in total or 56.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Urban Moruya - Moruya Heads employed 27.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 15.4% in Labourers; and 11.0% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Eurobodalla Shire and Urban Moruya - Moruya Heads were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Managers (14.7% compared to 11.0%)
  • A smaller percentage of males employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (9.5% compared to 14.1%)
