Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Eurobodalla Shire in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (1,649 males or 21.9%)
- Retail Trade (795 males or 10.6%)
- Public Administration and Safety (634 males or 8.4%)
In combination, these three industries employed 3,078 males in total or 40.8% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Narooma - North Narooma - Kianga employed 21.7% in Construction; 10.3% in Retail Trade; and 6.8% in Public Administration and Safety.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Eurobodalla Shire and Narooma - North Narooma - Kianga were:
- A larger percentage of males employed in public administration and safety (8.4% compared to 6.8%)
- A larger percentage of males employed in professional, scientific and technical services (4.2% compared to 3.0%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in accommodation and food services (8.3% compared to 11.6%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in agriculture, forestry and fishing (3.7% compared to 5.2%)

The largest changes in the jobs held by the male resident population between 2016 and 2021 in Eurobodalla Shire were for those employed in:

- Health Care and Social Assistance (+127 males)
- Public Administration and Safety (+85 males)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (+76 males)
