Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Bayswater in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (4,979 people or 13.6%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (3,313 people or 9.1%)
  • Education and Training (3,146 people or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 11,438 people in total or 31.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.8% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the City of Bayswater and Greater Perth were:
