Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 249 females who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Northcote (West), compared with 698 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the female residents in Northcote (West) in 2021, compared to the City of Darebin, shows that 7.6% used public transport, while 21.3% used a private vehicle, compared with 7.6% and 32.9% respectively in the City of Darebin.
The major differences in females between the method of travel to work of Northcote (West) and the City of Darebin were:
