Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Fairfield in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (785 females or 45.1%)
  • Managers (260 females or 14.9%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (252 females or 14.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,297 females in total or 74.5% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northcote (East) employed 47.6% in Professionals; 15.8% in Managers; and 13.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Fairfield and Northcote (East) were:
