Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Rosebery in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (148 people or 11.8%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (113 people or 9.0%)
- Retail Trade (110 people or 8.8%)

In comparison, Bayside Council area employed 12.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Rosebery and Bayside Council area were:
