Analysis of individual income levels in West Precinct in 2021 compared to the City of Banyule shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 10.7% of the population earned a high income, and 34.5% earned a low income, compared with 17.0% and 30.5% respectively for the City of Banyule.
