Analysis of the car ownership of the households in West Ballina in 2021 compared to Wollongbar - Mcleans Ridges shows that 88.4% of the households owned at least one car, while 4.9% did not, compared with 95.6% and 1.2% respectively in Wollongbar - Mcleans Ridges.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 43.4% of the households owned one car; 32.9% owned two cars; and 12.1% owned three cars or more, compared with 31.0%; 43.7% and 20.9% respectively for Wollongbar - Mcleans Ridges.
