Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Albury City in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (3,762 females or 28.6%)
- Education and Training (1,924 females or 14.6%)
- Retail Trade (1,591 females or 12.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 7,277 females in total or 55.3% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Springdale Heights employed 27.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.2% in Education and Training; and 13.7% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Albury City and Springdale Heights were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (14.6% compared to 11.2%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in professional, scientific and technical services (4.3% compared to 2.5%)
