Analysis of the car ownership of the households with recent arrivals in Albury City in 2021 compared to Regional NSW shows that 91.6% of recent arrivals were in households who owned at least one car and 7.1% were not, compared with 92.9% and 5.3% respectively in Regional NSW.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car, a larger proportion who owned two cars, and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
