Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Lake Albert in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (540 people or 17.2%)
  • Construction (388 people or 12.3%)
  • Education and Training (382 people or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,310 people in total or 41.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Wagga Wagga City employed 17.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.5% in Construction; and 10.6% in Education and Training.
