Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of non-English speakers in Wellington Shire in 2021 compared to the total population in Wellington Shire shows that 94.5% were in households that owned at least one car, while 4.3% did not, compared with 90.8% and 2.5% respectively in the total population in Wellington Shire.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion owned just one car; a larger proportion owned two cars; and a smaller proportion that owned three cars or more.
