Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Coolaroo in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (108 people or 12.1%)
  • Construction (88 people or 9.9%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (84 people or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 280 people in total or 31.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Hume City employed 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Construction; and 9.7% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Coolaroo and Hume City were:
