Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Attwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (235 people or 12.9%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (193 people or 10.6%)
  • Retail Trade (180 people or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 608 people in total or 33.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Hume City employed 11.6% in Construction; 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.5% in Retail Trade.
