Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Broadmeadows in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (351 females or 24.2%)
  • Education and Training (156 females or 10.8%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (139 females or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 646 females in total or 44.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Hume City employed 22.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.8% in Education and Training; and 6.6% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Broadmeadows and Hume City were:
