Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Castle Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (308 people or 14.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (288 people or 13.3%)
  • Education and Training (240 people or 11.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 836 people in total or 38.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, North Sydney Council area employed 21.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 11.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 7.6% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Castle Hill and North Sydney Council area were:
