Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Cherrybrook in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (830 males or 17.3%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (569 males or 11.9%)
  • Construction (394 males or 8.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,793 males in total or 37.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Thornleigh employed 16.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 7.7% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 11.0% in Construction.
