Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in South Lake in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (545 people or 18.3%)
  • Professionals (486 people or 16.3%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (388 people or 13.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,419 people in total or 47.6% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Lake Coogee employed 20.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 17.8% in Professionals; and 14.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of South Lake and Lake Coogee were:
