Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Yass Valley Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (948 males or 20.8%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (810 males or 17.8%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (431 males or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,189 males in total or 48.1% of the total employed male resident population.
