Dominant groups
Analysis of female individual income levels in Yass Valley Council area in 2021 compared to Yass shows that there was a higher proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 14.9% of the female population earned a high income, and 30.0% earned a low income, compared with 7.9% and 34.0% respectively for Yass.
The major differences between Yass Valley Council area's female individual incomes and Yass's female individual incomes were:
- A larger percentage of females who earned $2,000 - $2,999 (10.3% compared to 6.4%)
- A larger percentage of females who earned $3,500 or more (2.8% compared to 0.8%)
