Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Lilydale in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,035 females or 23.8%)
  • Professionals (935 females or 21.5%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (875 females or 20.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,845 females in total or 65.3% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Mount Evelyn employed 22.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 22.6% in Professionals; and 18.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Lilydale and Mount Evelyn were:
