Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Werribee in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (4,015 people or 17.5%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,268 people or 14.2%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (3,236 people or 14.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,519 people in total or 45.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Tarneit - South employed 17.9% in Professionals; 11.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 13.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
