Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Figtree in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,073 people or 18.4%)
  • Education and Training (710 people or 12.2%)
  • Construction (494 people or 8.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,277 people in total or 39.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Coniston - Mount Saint Thomas employed 17.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Education and Training; and 8.7% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Figtree and Coniston - Mount Saint Thomas were:
