Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Wollongong in 2021 compared to Woonona - Russell Vale shows that 80.4% of the households owned at least one car, while 14.1% did not, compared with 89.7% and 7.0% respectively in Woonona - Russell Vale.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 47.9% of the households owned one car; 24.8% owned two cars; and 7.7% owned three cars or more, compared with 34.5%; 37.3% and 17.9% respectively for Woonona - Russell Vale.
