Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Wollongong City in 2021 compared to Unanderra - Kembla Grange shows that 87.4% of the households owned at least one car, while 8.2% did not, compared with 84.8% and 9.8% respectively in Unanderra - Kembla Grange.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 34.7% of the households owned one car; 34.8% owned two cars; and 17.9% owned three cars or more, compared with 36.1%; 32.4% and 16.4% respectively for Unanderra - Kembla Grange.
