There were more technicians and trades workers in Tahmoor in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Tahmoor in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (504 people or 18.9%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (361 people or 13.6%)
  • Professionals (356 people or 13.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,221 people in total or 45.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Appin - Cataract - Darkes Forest employed 19.1% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 14.7% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.3% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Tahmoor and Appin - Cataract - Darkes Forest were:
