Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Rural Balance in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Public Administration and Safety (156 females or 41.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (50 females or 13.2%)
  • Education and Training (33 females or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 239 females in total or 63.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Wodonga employed 10.1% in Public Administration and Safety; 28.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 13.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Rural Balance and the City of Wodonga were:
