Analysis of the household/family types in Wodonga Growth Area in 2021 compared to Baranduda shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 42.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.9% were one-parent families, compared with 39.1% and 7.6% respectively for Baranduda.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 14.6% compared to 16.5% in Baranduda while the proportion of couples without children was 23.0% compared to 33.7% in Baranduda.
