Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North West District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (96 people or 15.3%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (59 people or 9.4%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (49 people or 7.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 204 people in total or 32.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the Mittagong District employed 10.9% in Construction; 15.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 1.6% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the North West District and the Mittagong District were:
