Analysis of the car ownership of non-English speakers in Willoughby City Council in 2021 compared to Ku-ring-gai Council area shows that 85.6% were in households that owned at least one car, while 13.5% did not, compared with 96.5% and 3.0% respectively in Ku-ring-gai Council area.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion owned just one car; a smaller proportion owned two cars; and a smaller proportion that owned three cars or more.
Overall, 50.6% of non-English speakers were in households that owned one car; 26.3% owned two cars; and 8.7% owned three cars or more, compared with 34.4%, 45.9% and 16.2% respectively for Ku-ring-gai Council area.
