Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in St Leonards in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (321 people or 23.0%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (184 people or 13.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (173 people or 12.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 678 people in total or 48.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Castlecrag employed 23.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 14.0% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 13.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
