Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Willoughby City in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (6,981 people or 18.7%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (4,787 people or 12.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (4,516 people or 12.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 16,284 people in total or 43.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Castlecrag employed 23.0% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 14.0% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 13.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Willoughby City and Castlecrag were:
