There were more female professionals in the City of Whittlesea in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Whittlesea in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (11,410 females or 22.7%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (10,838 females or 21.6%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (9,811 females or 19.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 32,059 females in total or 63.9% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Mill Park employed 23.3% in Professionals; 23.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 17.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the City of Whittlesea and Mill Park were:
