Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of East in 2021 compared to the City of Whittlesea shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 22.5% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 10.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 22.2% and 11.8% respectively for the City of Whittlesea.

There were no major differences between East and the City of Whittlesea in 2021.
