Dominant groups
Analysis of the qualifications of the population needing assistance in the City of Whittlesea in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a lower proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 24.0% of the population needing assistance aged 15 years or more held educational qualifications, and 71.5% had no qualifications, compared with 30.0% and 62.7% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
