Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of West Torrens in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (4,850 people or 30.1%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (3,137 people or 19.5%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,069 people or 19.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 11,056 people in total or 68.6% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Adelaide - Total females employed 27.4% in Professionals; 19.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 18.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
