Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Plympton in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (471 females or 28.9%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (414 females or 25.4%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (278 females or 17.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,163 females in total or 71.3% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Adelaide employed 27.4% in Professionals; 18.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 19.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Plympton and Greater Adelaide were:
