Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Sale and District planning area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,020 males or 23.6%)
  • Managers (780 males or 18.1%)
  • Professionals (767 males or 17.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,567 males in total or 59.4% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Wellington Shire employed 25.2% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 19.6% in Managers; and 12.0% in Professionals.
