Dominant groups

Analysis of the families with children in Yarram and surrounds in 2021 compared to the Coastal South District shows that there was a larger proportion of couples with young children, as well as a larger proportion of couples with older children.

Overall, 9.4% of total households with children were couple with young children, and 6.7% were couples with older children, compared with 7.2% and 5.5% respectively for the Coastal South District.
