Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North Bondi in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (2,117 people or 41.8%)
  • Managers (1,203 people or 23.8%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (455 people or 9.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,775 people in total or 74.6% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Bondi Junction employed 39.1% in Professionals; 19.7% in Managers; and 10.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of North Bondi and Bondi Junction were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Managers (23.8% compared to 19.7%)
  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Professionals (41.8% compared to 39.1%)
