Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Waverley Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (3,850 males or 20.0%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (2,504 males or 13.0%)
  • Construction (2,151 males or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 8,505 males in total or 44.3% of the total employed male resident population.
