Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in North Bondi in 2021 compared to Hunter Ward shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 34.0% of the population earned a high income, and 19.9% earned a low income, compared with 31.0% and 23.4% respectively for Hunter Ward.

The major differences between North Bondi's individual incomes and Hunter Ward's individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of persons who earned $2,000 - $2,999 (12.9% compared to 11.5%)
  • A larger percentage of persons who earned $3,500 or more (16.1% compared to 15.0%)
