Dominant groups

Analysis of male individual income levels in North Bondi in 2021 compared to Hunter Ward shows that there was a higher proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 42.7% of the male population earned a high income, and 16.0% earned a low income, compared with 40.5% and 19.5% respectively for Hunter Ward.

The major differences between North Bondi's male individual incomes and Hunter Ward's male individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of males who earned $2,000 - $2,999 (13.3% compared to 12.0%)
  • A larger percentage of males who earned $3,500 or more (23.5% compared to 22.8%)
  • A smaller percentage of males who earned Negative Income/ Nil income (6.5% compared to 8.2%)
