Dominant groups
Analysis of the religious affiliation of the population of Baldivis in 2021 compared to Wanneroo shows that there was a lower proportion of people who professed a religion and a higher proportion who stated they had no religion.
Overall, 45.1% of the population nominated a religion, and 48.0% said they had no religion, compared with 49.4% and 45.0% respectively for Wanneroo.
The largest single religion in Baldivis was Western (Roman) Catholic, with 15.9% of the population or 9,106 people as adherents.
The major differences between the religious affiliation for the population of Baldivis and Wanneroo were:
- A larger percentage who nominated Christian,nfd (4.8% compared to 3.8%)
- A smaller percentage who nominated Western (Roman) Catholic (15.9% compared to 18.4%)
