Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mirrabooka in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Labourers (3,455 people or 16.6%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,277 people or 15.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,227 people or 15.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 9,959 people in total or 47.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Southern River employed 10.2% in Labourers; 15.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 11.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Mirrabooka and Southern River were:
