An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mount Lawley in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (7,192 people or 31.8%)
- Managers (3,129 people or 13.8%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,859 people or 12.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 13,180 people in total or 58.2% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Murray-Wellington employed 11.3% in Professionals; 10.3% in Managers; and 10.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
