Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bicton in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (6,708 people or 33.1%)
  • Managers (3,461 people or 17.1%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,551 people or 12.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 12,720 people in total or 62.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Maylands employed 31.9% in Professionals; 13.6% in Managers; and 12.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Bicton and Maylands were:
