There were more technicians and trades workers in Butler in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Butler in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (5,004 people or 18.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (3,928 people or 14.6%)
  • Professionals (3,872 people or 14.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 12,804 people in total or 47.7% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Jandakot employed 13.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 11.3% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 26.8% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Butler and Jandakot were:
