There were more technicians and trades workers in Baldivis in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Baldivis in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (5,219 people or 18.6%)
  • Professionals (4,380 people or 15.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (4,045 people or 14.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 13,644 people in total or 48.6% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Armadale employed 17.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 11.9% in Professionals; and 13.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Baldivis and Armadale were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Professionals (15.6% compared to 11.9%)
  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Managers (9.5% compared to 7.3%)
  • A smaller percentage of persons employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (9.9% compared to 13.3%)
